EES Undergraduate Advising

Image of EES Advisor Natalie Clark

EES majors and minors should meet with the EES advisor at least once a year to discuss their progress through their academic program as a major or minor as well as any related issues including course selection, fulfillment of graduation requirements, paths to academic success, and career preparation.

Potential EES majors and minors are also encouraged to meet with the EES advisor to learn about and enroll in these programs.

MSU undergraduate students can schedule an appointment with the Earth and Environmental Sciences academic advisor using the new MSU appointment system. Here are step-by-step instructions on using the new academic advisor appointment system. All of the open availability for a given advisor will be displayed in the Student Success Dashboard. If no openings are displayed, it is because all advising appointment slots are full for that week or the advisor does not have time available. Keep trying on the web-based schedule system in case someone cancels an appointment.

Note that EES advisors do not give overrides for any courses. If you are in need of an override please refer to this link to the EES department override instructions.
