My research focuses on the crustal structure, seismology, and tectonics of eastern Russia, and western Alaska, as well as analysis of local Michigan earthquakes. Research work is in cooperation with the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and seismic networks associated with the Northeast Interdisciplinary Research Institute (Magadan, Russia), and the Yakutian Institute of Geological Sciences (Yakutsk, Siberia, Russia). In addition, I operate the seismic station here at Michigan State University (Station LNSM).
