Speaker Ed Garnero Delves Into the "Dynamically Evolving Planetary Interior"

EES welcomes Dr. Ed Garnero of Arizona State University as our Distinguished Speaker this week. His talk is titled "Multiple Scales of Compositional Heterogeneity in Earth’s Mantle: Evidence for a Dynamically Evolving Planetary Interior".

Leave your preconceived notions of the earth's static center at the door. Garnero will show us the animated and progressively evolving nature of the interior regions of our planet. Join us for this facinating journey to the center of the Earth on Friday September 22, 2017 at 12:30 PM in Room 204 of the Natural Science building on the East Lansing Campus.
