Geocognition Lab student receives NSF Fellowship

Patricia Jaimes, first year student in Dr. Julie Libarkin's Geocognition Research Lab, received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship for her project, "Within and Beyond the Leaky Pipeline: Understanding Minority Student Transitions in Earth System Science".  The award will allow her to explore the underlying causes of the lack of diversity among Earth System scientists. Congratulations, Patricia!
