EES Grad Student wins best poster award
Sydney Ruhala, an EES Ph.D. student working with Drs. Zarnetske and Long, was awarded best poster presentation in basic research at the 2016 Society for Freshwater Science meeting in Sacramento, California. Sydney's poster was on "Dissolved organic carbon conditions across the stream-groundwater interface of a third-order river network". Sydney's research is partially funded by a GSA student research grant and a KBS LTER Summer Fellowship.
